What we do, in detail

Nine pieces of work between "we have a great product" and "we're on the shelf." Most suppliers need some of them. Nobody needs all nine at once.

01

Sales Strategy

Before anything is pitched, somebody has to decide what is being pitched, to whom, at what price, and against which competitor already sitting on that shelf.

  • Which retailer, banner and store traits are realistic for your product today
  • Where you sit against the incumbents in your category, and the honest gap
  • A price and margin architecture that survives fees, claims and allowances
  • The line review calendar for your category, worked backward from the date
02

Forecasting & Analytics

Buyers do not argue with a forecast they can check. We build yours in the systems they already use, so the conversation is about the number, not about where it came from.

  • Demand forecasts a buyer can trace, not a spreadsheet nobody trusts
  • POS and sell-through analysis: units per store per week, in-stock, lost sales
  • Category and competitive reads from the same data the buyer sees
  • Early warning when velocity drops, while there is still time to act
03

Item Creation

Item setup is where most first-time suppliers lose weeks. A dimension typed wrong or an image that fails spec does not bounce back with an explanation — it just sits.

  • Clean item data first time: UPCs, case configuration, dimensions, weights
  • Images and copy that meet spec before they are submitted
  • Setup driven through to live rather than handed off and hoped for
  • The rejections caught before submission, not after
04

Replenishment Planning

Getting on the shelf is one problem. Staying on it, without tying up capital in inventory nobody ordered, is a different one.

  • Order flow and safety stock sized to real velocity, not optimism
  • Lead times and 3PL capacity checked against what you have committed to
  • Delivery windows managed so the compliance programs stay quiet
  • A plan for the reorder before the first order ships
05

Supply Chain Planning

Direct store delivery and shipping into a distribution centre are two different businesses. Choosing wrong is expensive and hard to unwind.

  • DC or DSD, decided on your economics rather than on habit
  • Case pack and pallet configuration that works at both ends
  • Freight, routing and appointment planning against the delivery window
  • Capacity checked honestly before volume is promised
06

Reporting

The supplier who shows up to every review already knowing the numbers is a different supplier from the one who finds out in the room.

  • A reporting rhythm your team and your buyer both work from
  • Performance against the metrics the category is actually judged on
  • Deductions and compliance charges tracked, not discovered at invoice
  • One version of the numbers, so nobody is arguing about the source
07

E-Commerce

The digital shelf has its own rules. An item that sells in store can sit unbought online because the content will not convert or nobody can find it.

  • Listing content built to convert, not just to pass validation
  • Search and category placement worked on deliberately
  • Ratings and reviews handled as part of the plan
  • Online and in-store performance read together, not separately
08

Trend Management

Category direction moves faster than the modular cycle. Knowing where it is going decides what you bring to the next line review.

  • Category and seasonal trend reads, translated into assortment decisions
  • What to add, what to cut and when to say so
  • Timing aligned to the modular calendar rather than to a hunch
  • A point of view you can defend when the buyer pushes back
09

Pitch Deck Development

The line review is the meeting the whole year points at. The deck is the argument, and most decks bury it.

  • The case made in the order a buyer evaluates it
  • Your numbers presented the way the category presents numbers
  • Every claim backed by something in the room
  • Rehearsed, not just delivered
